Steve Forbes, as his father before him, subtitles his article in the Forbes Magazine each issue with the following quote, “With all thy getting, get understanding.” What does that mean? I believe it means simply this…don’t be a mile wide and an inch deep. Marketing professionals need to have a depth of understanding enough about all things marketing & sales, that it includes first hand experience. And how do you get that?
